I rebuilt one of the first stuccos I received and could not be happier.
Basically the moyu blacks (got them for free with my polaris) where so loud, I could not handle it – even with polyfill in the case and alubutyl added.
So I unsoldered everything, lubed the top housing heavily and added a bit of lube on the leaves. During that procedure I also learned that they where filmed before.
During the build process, I moved to my base layout I prefer at these times: a 7u layout with split rshift, split backspace.
here are the final facts:
- Stucco{15} case with polyfill and alubutyl
- moyu blacks L+F+ sound optimised
- GMK WOB
- FR4 plate
- 2x layers of tape on the PCB
- equalz stabs 205+BDZ
